The Rock-A-Bye Nanny Agency Terms & Conditions

The Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency terms and conditions are a legally binding contract between Rock-a-bye nanny agency, the employer (the client) and the nanny (the candidate)

Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency acts solely as an introduction and not an employment agency. The candidate is employed by the client therefore the client is responsible for the candidate’s tax, national insurance and employee’s contract.

The agency must be notified immediately either verbally or in writing by the client upon any offer of employment with any candidates introduced by Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency.

Fees must be payable with 14days from the invoice date. After this, a late payment charge of £12 will be added each month until the full invoice total has been paid.

Should the engagement be cancelled by the client then a fee of £50 will be payable to Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency by the client.

In the event that the candidate is required to transport children in a vehicle, it is the clients responsibility that the candidate holds a valid driving licence and has the correct insurance cover.

All documents and information given to the agency whether written or oral shall be kept confidential.

The agency does not accept under any circumstances responsibility for any loss or damage arising from any candidate introduced by Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency whether or not that act or omission is negligent or fraudulent or reveals any dishonesty.

Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency offers an 8 week guarantee on all permanent childcare placements. If a candidate should leave within that time then a free replacement will be offered providing:

a)   that the fee was paid within 14 days from the invoice date

b)      that the working conditions are still the same from the original job   description.

If the employment is terminated by the employer during the first 8 weeks and a replacement cannot be found then the agency will reimburse the client £100.

 Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency makes every effort to ensure that the candidates CRB, qualifications and references are thoroughly checked however we cannot be held responsible if any of the above information is inaccurate.

Rock-a-bye Nanny Agency has the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
